Merzouga, a small desert village in southeastern Morocco, was one of the highlights of our Moroccan adventure. Nestled at the edge of the vast Sahara Desert, it offered an unforgettable glimpse into the heart of Morocco’s natural beauty. Our camel trek across the golden dunes at sunset felt like stepping into a postcard, with the vast expanse of the desert stretching out in all directions. After riding through the rippling sands, we reached our Berber camp for the night. Sitting around the campfire under a canopy of stars, we experienced the warmth of Berber hospitality, delicious traditional food, and the unique rhythm of desert life. The peace and silence of the Sahara left a lasting impression, making Merzouga a must-visit destination for anyone seeking adventure and serenity in Morocco.
